Thought I’d share a few wedding photos in conjunction with this post!

Kim Ricketts is a dynamo here in Seattle–we have her to thank for bringing us such incredible chefs like Thomas Keller, Mario Batali, and David Chang in just the past year. Her Cooks and Books events are legendary. I’m so thrilled to announce that my coauthor Ali Basye and I will be at Kim’s event this week to promote The Newlywed Kitchen.

On Friday May 21st at 6:30pm, we’ll join the illustrious panel including: Tara Austen Weaver (author of The Butcher and the Vegetarian, and Tea and Cookies), Langdon Cook (author of Fat of the Land, and a blog by the same name), and Amy Pennington (author of Urban Pantry and GoGoGreenGarden) at Palace Ballroom for a discussion moderated by Kathleen Flinn (author of The Sharper Your Knife, the Less You Cry).

It promises to be a wonderful event, and I’d love to meet you.
