This week’s brunch rec: Tilikum Place Café’s Fry-Up
the cozy, sun-drenched room at Tilikum Place Café
the gorgeous Fry-Up, with housemade sausage, crisp bacon, a soft-yolked egg, and the best baked beans
Tilikum Place Café is a relatively new, undeservedly under-rated “European-inspired” restaurant. I had a leisurely breakfast alone there last week, and thoroughly enjoyed the Fry-Up, which came with housemade sausage, ultra-crisp bacon, and the best sweet and smoky baked beans ever. (A bit of online digging yielded this recipe–thanks Sumi!)

I also wrote about Tilikum’s wonderful hand-cut pasta in sage butter, with toasted hazelnuts and Parmesan in this month’s “Food We Love” in Seattle Magazine.
Tilikum Place Café is located in Belltown, 407 Cedar St.; 206.282.4830
