Project 365, peach crisp in early light
Breakfast: peaches I preserved this summer found their way under a cinnamony, brown-sugary oatmeal crisp
Have you heard of Project 365? The premise is simple: just take a photo each and every day. Not only will you become a better photographer, but by the end of 2010, you’ll have a wonderful photo-journal documenting the entire year. I’ll be posting all of my food-related Project 365 on this blog, and I would love to see your photos too, if you’d like to leave a link in the comments section.
one more, because I couldn’t decide which one I liked best
I thought I’d start off my series with some peach crisp I ate for breakfast. The peaches ones I’d preserved over the summer, and the topping is simply a mixture of oatmeal, flour, white and brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and a touch of salt to balance the sweetness. It’s easy enough to throw together, and in 30 minutes, you’ll have a delicious, warm treat to start the day.

Any kind of crisp sounds good to me! And so easy! I hadn’t heard of the Project 365 but it sounds like a good idea. Now I just have to buy a new memory card…
