Last night was too much fun, wasn’t it? It was lovely sharing delicious food and conversation at the table with you and Henry. Still thinking about the zucchini-anchovy pizza, the Margherita, the cookies and yogurt blueberry pops. I’m due back later this week. Can’t wait!

The pizzas were quite good, and I expect them to be even better once Brandon gets everything running smoothly! I think their lengthy soft-opening is a very smart idea.
Viv: Last night was so enjoyable! My favorites were the zucchini-anchovy and the Margherita too! (And the raw corn on the salad!) You and your hubby are the sweetest couple ever!

What’s on the Brooklyn?
The pizza looks great. I know one of the things I’ll most most about Japan is the Neapolitan-style pizza, so I really wish we had a Delancey in Winnipeg!
No chile-infused olive oil? Better than chile flakes, I think. Maybe you could suggest it, so by the time I get to Seattle they’ll have some for me.

Rona: a Brooklyn is a pizza that Brandon said was inspired by DiFara. It has mozzarella and Grana Padano, tomato, and basil. (Chili-infused olive oil sounds delicious!)

Rona: oops, sorry, realized I forgot to photograph the Brooklyn. IIRC, I was chatting at another table

Congratulations on your new restaurant! I will make sure to visit you as my husband works for American Seafoods in Seattle as a commercial fisherman and I “see him off” each January. We always like to try new, interesting restaurants and I will make this a definite must when I come up. Good Luck to you! Gerry

Nice pics and the pizza looks great. Of course, now I want some wood-fired pizza for lunch and there’s nothing even close nearby my work. :/
